Ubisoft’s Raving Rabbids Invade The Sandbox is a game where players can collect and trade in-game items. This marks the first time that Ubisoft has allowed ownership of digital goods to be traded on its platform, allowing players with rare items or even limited edition ones to earn some serious cash.
Ubisoft’s “Raving Rabbids Invade The Sandbox” is a new game that is available on Google Play. In the game, players can use the “rabbids token” to collect coins and buy items for their own personal sandbox.
Ubisoft has partnered with The Sandbox on a project that sees the rambunctious Rabbids from the Rayman video game franchise unleashed on the industry-leading web3 platform. The Walking Dead, Snoop Dogg, Adidas, Warner Music Group, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, and CryptoKitties are just a few of the renowned pop-culture icons that have collaborated with The Sandbox.
The Sandbox characterizes the cooperation as a “strategic endeavor to incorporate Ubisoft game IP aspects onto their platform,” and it has already taken shape with Ubisoft’s purchase of LAND, which will house a variety of interactive activities for everyone to enjoy.
Other initiatives are in the works as well, the most important of which being the production of Voxelized Rabbids characters and goods, which will be integrated into users’ own experiences utilizing the VoxEdit and Game Maker authoring tools.

Guillaume Mammi, Ubisoft’s Senior Manager of New Business and Partnerships, expressed his interest in seeing how The Sandbox community will react to the empowering but mischievous mammal additions, as well as describing the partnership as a great way for the company to experiment with converging its brands with the metaverse.
The inclusion of furry characters, as hinted at by Borget, is yet another effective illustration of The Sandbox’s proactive objective of empowering users via their capacity to create unique experiences utilizing both original and well-known characters and places.
