The developers behind sandbox game The Sandbox are gearing up for a huge sale of land to commemorate the release of their latest edition, Epic Mega City 2: Land Sale. Players will be able to purchase smaller plots in this brand new update and enjoy hours upon hours of endless gameplay with other players.
The “sandbox land sale 2022” is a new game mode in the sandbox that will allow players to purchase land at a discounted rate. The first phase of the sale begins on April 22, 2019 and ends on May 2, 2019.
The Sandbox festival of all things Hong Kong will take its Asian adventure to the next level. The company is kicking off the second phase of its Mega City initiative by announcing a slew of new partners.
The Mega City 2 virtual land auction, appropriately termed, will take place on April 28 at 1pm UTC, giving investors and metaverse developers the opportunity to buy prime Mega City real estate inside The Sandbox realm. As a consequence, interested parties may purchase 82 Premium and 42 Standard parcels of land in a one-time transaction. All of this is made possible through The Sandbox, a self-curated customizable marketplace.
Aside from the flats, The Sandbox will sell off a total of 10 estates and 38 parcels of land via an online auction. On launch day, each of these items will be available for bidding on the OpenSea marketplace.

This next phase of the Mega City initiative will see a slew of new groups enter the game, each partnering with a batch of unique NFTs to land in their neighborhood. Ocean Park, Standard Chartered, Regal Hotels Group, MADworld, Chord Hero, and many more will all have a presence in the Mega City metropolis as a consequence of this. As a result, everyone contributes to the lively urban sprawl and its own character.
