This is a step towards bridging between virtual worlds and real life, while providing interesting new means for collecting & trading experience points.
Shutterfly and Legendary Fashion Icon Iris Apfel have teamed up for the launch of a new NFT. The pair are launching the “First National Photo Token” on February 14th, 2019.
Shutterfly, an e-commerce pioneer, has announced a collaboration with Iris Apfel, a famed fashion icon, interior designer, and entrepreneur. The “NFT Holiday CryptoCard” collection, a three-piece NFT collection showcasing unique and never-before-seen holiday events from Iris’ life, will be released as part of the agreement.
Shutterfly is a prominent eCommerce site dedicated to providing unique, personal, and creative goods and services. With such values in mind, it’s no wonder that their collaboration with artistic mogul Iris Apfel is vibrant and full of personality. Each NFT incorporates an assortment of diverse artistic hues and textures, as well as classic eyeglasses, a timeless staple-piece of Iris’ wardrobe, to pay respect to her elegant and creative nature. Each picture is also wrapped in a unique Christmas card design inspired by Shutterfly’s holiday collection for 2021.
The collection will be auctioned, with all proceeds going to the benefit of non-profit organization, Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The auction will last for a week, beginning on Tuesday, November 30th, and ending on Tuesday, December 7th. Both crypto or fiat can be used for purchasing a NFT Holiday CryptoCard.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America are an organization that have been providing children with a safe space to learn and grow for over 160 years. Through the guidance from caring adult mentors, children are provided with an array of different high-impact youth development programs, which focus on areas such as friendship, leadership, academia, and healthy living.
