In-game assets are coming to life in a new way, with the launch of an NFT store powered by Decentraland. The collaboration between Samsung and Loom Network allows gamers to purchase virtual goods like digital avatars that can be traded on their platform or used as currency within games.
Samsung is launching a virtual store with NFT perks in Decentraland. The new store will be available on December 8th, and will offer users the ability to purchase items using crypto.
Samsung is all about NFTs and the metaverse these days, so it’s no surprise that the company has opened its own virtual shop. The newly built Samsung 837X shop will be placed in the Decentraland metaverse, and will be modeled after the actual 837 store in New York.
Visitors will be able to experience Samsung’s Connectivity Theatre, Sustainability Forest, and Customization Stage in the virtual shop for a short period. Fans exploring the theatre and forest will be able to accomplish missions along the way to collect 837X NFT badges, according to the business, while the theatre will also feature Samsung news and a’metaverse mixed reality live dance party’ presented by DJ Gamma Vibes.

The debut of 837X comes after the company’s previous groundbreaking initiatives, which have seen it push further and deeper into the worlds of NFTs, crypto, and the metaverse. The debut of NFT-enabled smart TVs, as well as the integration of a crypto wallet for Galaxy smartphones, are examples of such initiatives.

The “where to buy nft tokens” is a new feature that has been introduced by Samsung. The idea behind this is to help users who are not familiar with cryptocurrencies, but still want to purchase some. The virtual store will be available for free on Samsung’s website and the app will be released on December 12th.
